CHRISTMAS ON THE BONNECHERE
"On a winter's day in December of 2007 with Christmas approaching I was sitting on the couch looking out the patio doors. It was snowing. I started to reminisce about the people close to me that I had recently lost. The people that could no longer be with me especially during this special time of year. Both my wife and I have lost our fathers to cancer since moving to the shores of the Bonnechere. I started writing this song and completed it that same afternoon. Even now every time I hear or play this song it chokes me up. In August 2008, with the help of my niece and my brother, I went into the studio to record this song. I have written many songs about the area but this one has a very special meaning to me."
